Union PowerSwage Logging Drumlines, also referred to as skidder cables or mainline cables, are made from the highest quality swaged wire rope. During Union’s exclusive manufacturing process, PowerSwage is rotary-swaged after the closing of the rope to produce a compacted cross-section with minimum voids and greater surface area on the outer wires that contact drums and sheaves. 30% higher in strength ration than Union's standard 6x26 swaged wire rope, these ropes are designed to resist abrasion and drum crushing in logging applications.
