Wire Rope & Guying
When working in the wind, telecom, and utility industries a common thing to do is guying. Guying is the act of using a guy anchor and guy wire to add stability to a free-standing structure. A guy anchor is a steel shaft drilled into the ground and reinforced with concrete that is used to support guy wire. Guy wire is the tensioned cable that adds the stability and support to the free-standing structure.
